Why a hard case needs a foam insert
A hard case protects against outside impact, but inside the items are left alone with the walls. A custom foam case insert separates them into cavities, absorbs the shock of a drop and stops anything rattling. And it keeps order: open the lid and everything is visible, close it and everything is in place.
We make inserts for cases from any manufacturer: for your case by its inside dimensions, or from our library of popular models where the dimensions are already measured.

What goes in
Photo and video gear, measuring instruments, firearms and optics, drones and controllers, tools, medical and lab equipment, trade show samples, presentation kits. If an item has a shape, it can have a cavity.

How we make it
- Case dimensions. From our library by model, or from you: inside length and width, base depth and lid depth.
- Item outlines. A top-down photo with a ruler, DXF/STEP, or measuring / 3D scanning at our workshop. Cavity clearance 1–2 mm.
- Layout. Base pad, cavity layer (one or two tiers), lid layer. You get a layout to approve.
- Cutting. CNC oscillating knife, PE/EVA foam up to 50 mm in a single pass, tolerance from 0.5 mm. Layers are bonded. The insert fits the case snugly without fixings.
