What a gun case foam insert does
A gun case insert is a foam insert with cavities cut to the exact outline of the firearm, magazines and accessories. The firearm does not move in transit, does not hit the case walls and does not rub its finish. In a safe, the insert does a different job: each gun stands in its own place, stocks do not touch each other, and you see at a glance whether everything is there.
We have made firearm inserts since 2017 — first for our own cases, now for shooters, hunters, gun shops, safe makers and military units.
Which firearms
- Pistols — in a case or a safe: pistol, magazines, holster, flashlight, cleaning kit.
- Rifles, shotguns, AR platforms — in a transport case, assembled or broken down, with magazines and optics.
- Gun safes and cabinets — barrel rests, stock rests and pistol holders sized to your safe.
- Optics — scopes, thermal imagers, binoculars, rangefinders in soft PE or PE+EVA.
- Knives, air guns — on the same principle, to your list.
How we make it
- Outline. Send the model name and a photo, or lay the firearm on a sheet and photograph it from above with a ruler. For unusual items — DXF/STEP or a 3D scan. We add 1–2 mm clearance so the item goes in snugly without force.
- Layout. We place the cavities within your case or safe: firearm, magazines, accessories, finger cut-outs for easy removal. You get a drawing to approve.
- Cutting. A CNC oscillating knife cuts PE foam up to 50 mm thick in one pass: clean edges, no dust and no melted edges like a laser leaves. Tolerance from 0.5 mm.
- Sample and run. For one-off orders the sample is the product. For safe production runs we make one set for approval first, then the run.

- Safe: inside shelf width and depth, height to the next shelf, number of guns
