Why equipment needs a foam insert
A product that travels to a customer or between workshops without fixing arrives scratched, out of adjustment or with a broken connector. A foam insert holds the unit by its housing, separates components into cavities and takes the impact. For production goods it is also a standard: the same layout in every box, fast kitting and easy checks.

How we make it
- Input data. STEP / IGES / DXF / PDF from your engineer, or the part itself for measuring / 3D scanning at our workshop.
- Design. Cavity with 1–2 mm clearance (or to your specification), support on rigid features, cut-outs for connectors and protrusions. You get a layout to approve.
- Sample. 1–2 pieces to check the fit and, if required, a drop test.
- Run. CNC oscillating knife (up to 50 mm per pass, tolerance from 0.5 mm); contoured cavities are milled. We keep the files.
